Cascading Risk Management (CRM) Training & Certification

Introduction to Cascading Risk Management
CRM is the next logical step in risk identification and mitigation that reflects the reality of how internal and external risks connect in cascades to create threatening events that were not predicted using classic risk management methods. CRM goes far beyond simple single or multiple factor cause and effect relationships and identifies how behaviors, attitudes, actions and strategies over time can impact success or failure. CRM uses 40 families of analysis tools to identify overlooked internal threats at all levels in the organization and  establishes the top to bottom cascades that can link with external threats to create devastating events. CRM works to transform individual risks into best practice behaviors, attitudes and actions to create positive success cascades.

Cascading Risk Management Training & Certification CRM is a unique and patent pending methodology developed by David Patrishkoff, which has been successfully implemented in companies from over 60 different industries, worldwide. It applies a novel LPAT (Learn-Practice-Assess-Transform) method of teaching, which guides students through a discovery process of learning how that cascade effects had a big part in the triggers that lead to many well documented historical disasters. CRM training then helps students identify the internal and external cascading threats that exist in their own organizations that need to be addressed. Cascading Risk Management (CRM) Training is available in 5 different levels of expertise, as shown on the table below. Various Training and Practitioner Certification Levels are available.
